The Aftermath
Discord : 2 : 3
The survivors of the Raid on YNWK gathered in the shattered remains of Discord, trying to make sense of the devastation they had witnessed. The loss of so many members and the destruction of their cherished relics left the community in a state of mourning.
“We have lost much,” said one of the elders of YNWK.org. “But we are still here. We must find a way to rebuild.”
Yet, rebuilding seemed impossible in the face of such destruction. The once-thriving community had been reduced to a fraction of its former size, and the constant elections and policy changes, once a symbol of their unity, now seemed like a burden. The people of YNWK.org were weary, and they knew they needed a new way forward.
“We need stability,” said one of the remaining leaders. “No more constant changes in leadership. No more endless debates. We need someone who can guide us through this dark time—a steady hand that will not falter.”
It was in this moment of crisis that the people turned to Yidan Yuhn, the Secondary Developer and Director of Internal Communications. Yidan had always been a figure of calm and reason within the community, and many saw him as the leader they needed in this time of turmoil.
Yidan had long been the head of the Rick Astley Party, a faction known for its promises of consistency and unwavering leadership. In the aftermath of the raid, the people of YNWK.org saw this consistency as their best hope for survival. They held one final election, and the Rick Astley Party was elected to guide YNWK.org into a new era. After that election, Yidan was granted the title of Danté, replacing the old title of Vice President.
“You can trust us,” Yidan Yuhn said in his acceptance speech. “We will never give you up, never let you down, never run around and desert you. We will be the steady hand you need to rebuild what has been lost.”
